Brenntag announced the acquisition of the Life Science and Coatings business from Ravenswood, a specialties distributor in Australia and New Zealand with a strong expertise in blending.

Founded in 1978, the company is headquartered in Bayswater, Australia, and operates two sites in Australia. Ravenswood serves a broad range of customers in the region. The acquired business generated sales of approximately AUD 65 million in the financial year 2022 (ending June 30). Closing of the transaction is expected in December.
